Film and meaningful storytelling is a perfect place for Substack, visual art that sparks your curiosity. We’re hungry for it! We’re sick of swiping aimless through 10 second videos on these other platforms. Film and video could be so much more, and it’s incredible to see that coming to life here.
Your outfit is amazing! As a native New Yorker who now lives in DC, I understand what you mean about how location influences dress. I believe in wearing what I love, and it’s definitely a New Yorker thing, lol!
I think this is my favorite article that comes from Substack. Nothing political that will bouging your mind. Nice.. you can do more of this but let it be genuine and authentic please.
I wanted to retire in the Bay Area. Even San Francisco. I was buying warm coat collection. Then the housing prices got outrageous and obscene and then the draconian laws while allowing homeless to shit all over the city and break into vehicles and people's home and businesses. Ok, but the Bay Area got infected with this mental satanic cancer. Now I am retired and living in SE Arizona. Not much call for warm coats. Well they make nice wraps for the cold winter nights.
I lived in SF till 2024 and I've always been amazed by the outfits locals wear. You can absolutely tell who is a tourist and who is a local based on their sense of style. I agree SF has their own distinctive style, but it's only evident to the sensitive souls. Loved the film!
Having made my previous comment, I applaud your enterprises and hope for your continued success. I also found this out about San Francisco. The hills got steeper as I got older. :-)
I hope and pray San Francisco is returned to sanity and becomes once again the jewel city on the hill. I first lived there in 1972 where I had lunch with Dr. Frank Oppenheimer when he was building the first Exploratorium.edu in the Marina District.
SOOOO self absorbed. I’m ashamed that I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. There was a time when people there were real! Now they live in lies. So pretentious! Do they even know who they really are? Don’t get me wrong, I love fashion that celebrates real women and real men!
Now this is what fulfilled potential looks like on the app 💫

Completely agree with this

Was that a Doggy Bag I saw? 😍😍😍
Looove this, perfect intersection of fashion & film - I’d actually be stoked to see a lot more of this on Substack !
This is soooo cool

*be bouging your mind*
Looks like Cindy Sherman circa late 70s/ 1980s. Very cool.
Sorry, her choice of platform boots absolutely kills what was already iffy "fashion."
wait till you see my tabi toe shoes x
I can't wait!
Wow wow wow. More of this please. I love the creative direction and Viv’s style acumen is out of this world.
What do I wear to protest the Trump administration's multitude of sins?
Sackcloth and ashes would do nicely

How amazing!! 🤍
Love your shoes, Viv. My daughter would kill to have those shoes. No shit.

I’m happy for them. Are you going to add a film and television category for creators on the platform?
