Loved the illustration just sitting around "waiting" foir a little rain to come along and help it merge into perfection. An interesting look into one artist's patience and faith that their muse will be back soon.
I worked some Dutch guys a few years ago and they said to this day Dutch people will lightheartedly taunt Germans with some variation of “Hey, where’s my bike?” In reference to the German occupation forces confiscating Dutch people’s bikes during the WWII occupation.
That chocolate and cinnamon pavlova!!
I love the “Miniature Cherry Cream” painting 🥰 It's amazing that the roundups now include all kinds of art.
The pavlova looks wonderful, and also a little like a penguin in a jacuzzi
Damn, this is spot on 😂
The bike thief story is great!
Great roundup, thanks for putting this together! I have a letter I’m particularly proud of for an emotional read about love and longing + music recommendations! Check it out here: https://open.substack.com/pub/meltedform/p/the-living-music-list-21-on-longing?r=41gs7g&utm_medium=ios
