I loved the SATC opening song; it was joyful and had great spirit. And Just Like That is NOT better than the movies; it's sad and depressing and has no joy in it. I stopped watching it midway through the first season. I'm 53 and don't understand why people like it. Call me crazy, but I just expected a little joy from a series that was originally be a comedy. Complete letdown.
Jeff, thanks for talking about tariffs today. You gave me some triangulation between you and Erick Erickson’s take. Erick’s good, but I think he discounts some of Trump’s ideas that end up working despite going against the professional opinion - tariffs most always bad, a tax on consumers. Keep analysis coming please, even a direct rebuttal to Erick’s tariffs ideas without naming names.
Some old rock star was playing on Instagram being like “omg what I created is awesome” unfortunately it was nothing more then a mish mash of instruments and abstracted percussion he was iconic but that’s not the same thing as good. 😊

I’m not sure how to report this but the latest Android update has removed the ability to “❤️” for me and others, and some subscribers can’t comment on posts anymore, either, as of August 26, 2025. For about a year on Android I have had inconsistent ability to leave comments as well (often there’s no type field in which to comment). I’m worried engagement will tank if people can’t interact with posts. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks for your attention (typing from iPad).
